Thank You Roy

Hello Roy and Readers,
I thought i should share this with your readers Roy, as i was particularly impressed with your gentlemanly service........  I recently enquired as to the value of some stone artefacts i had in my possession.  Roy answered and although he doesn't buy such articles, he immediately suggested that i try a friend of his at Cheshire Demolition in Macclesfield. Roy even went out of his way to find me the number out of his own phone.
Stan at CD invited me to take my stone ornaments into him and he offered me a very acceptable price, which i duly accepted. I thought back to how Roy had helped and realized that i would probably still have my artefacts if he had not been willing to go that extra mile for me. I might add here, that i contacted two other stone traders, one of whom, put the phone down on me and the other very abruptly answered 'No i dont!' - and then put the phone down!  Thank Heavens for gentlemen like Roy i say! A very grateful - Jon Weeks

To Roy at York Stone Sales, Thank you for your understanding today. I was at my wits end after having my driveway vandalised over the weekend. Many of my Yorkshire stone flags had been broken or stolen and my driveway was left completely ruined. The police suggested i got in touch with somebody who would be willing to buy the flags that were left over and i'm glad it was you i rang. I'm a great believer in credit where credit's due and i wish to praise you for the sympathetic service i received today. It's not even 2pm and my driveway is already completely bare - All ready for the tarmac men to come tomorrow and lay me a new driveway. I really feel as though I've made headway today and achieved some peace of mind. At least those heartless flag raiders won't be stealing from me any more! I was so worried that they may return. Who knows what else they would have stolen? Thank you for the patience and the professionalism you and your men showed, moving those huge flagstones this morning. Wow!!! May i wish you and your staff a Merry Christmas (well, it is only 7 weeks away) and the best of luck with your business. To the flag raiders?..... May the bluebird of happiness pooh all over your Christmas dinner! Mrs Jacqui James.
